Registration Requirements:

To Register to Vote you must be:
•  a United States Citizen
•  a Resident of the Town of Enfield
•  at least 18 years old – on or before the next election
•  an Elector with our privileges not forfeited by reason of conviction or a felony

A registration form may be obtained by calling your Registrar of Voters or by going to the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall in Enfield, 820 Enfield Street, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. You must a driver’s license or photo identification. You may also call Town Clerk’s Office at 253-6440 to have a registration form mailed to you.

Absentee Ballots:

Registered voters who are ill, physically disabled, on active service in the military, out of town during all of the hours of voting or whose religious tenets forbid secular activity on the day of the election, primary or referendum may apply to vote using an absentee ballot. Those providing service as a poll worker during all of the hours of voting in polling places other than their own are also eligible.

The issuance of an absentee ballot is a two-step process. You may obtain an application at the:

•  Town Clerk's Office or download and print an Absentee Ballot (en Español)    application form.

•  Return the completed application to the Town Clerk in the town where you
   are registered to vote.

Once your application is processed, you will receive your ballot in the mail.

59th House District Polling Locations:

The polls are open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 7, 2006, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. You must be registered to vote in order to vote that day. For information about how to register to vote please see below. Election workers will require photo identification.
